Deloitte on Wednesday named Alison Rogish its new market leader for Central Virginia, the first woman to hold the post.
“It is an honor to have been invited to serve as the market leader for the Central Virginia practice of Deloitte,” Rogish said in a statement. “I look forward to using my knowledge and experience to capitalize on the excellence and growth of our market. “
The practice in Central Virginia has approximately 300 employees and includes clients from Richmond and Hampton Roads. Rogish will be responsible for Deloitte’s strategy, business development, corporate citizenship and other strategic initiatives in the market.
She joined Deloitte in 1998 and specializes in providing human capital services to clients in the financial services industry. In 2005, she became relationship manager for several clients in the Washington, DC metro area. In 2015, she was promoted to General Manager of Customer Relations.
“Alison brings an impressive track record of professional achievement and dedication to serving the Central Virginia community,” said Kevin McGovern, Eastern Region Market Leader for Deloitte, in a statement. “She has the ability and experience to build on our strong presence and bring together our professionals to continue to serve our clients with distinction. “
Rogish sponsors several Deloitte initiatives on gender equality in financial services, such as DC Spark: Financial Services, a networking organization for women in the financial services industry in Washington, DC.
She holds a BA in Industrial and Labor Relations from Cornell University and an MA in Organizational Psychology from Columbia University.
Rogish succeeds Dan Hudgens, who was a managing partner of Central Virginia for 13 years and is well on the way to serving clients on the West Coast.
